Why We Serve

We serve because Jesus first served us. In Mark 10:45, Jesus tells us that “even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Serving others is a tangible way we can show God’s love to our church family and community.

When we serve:

  • We follow Christ’s example
  • We use our God-given gifts as intended
  • We build meaningful relationships
  • We experience the joy of making a difference
  • We help fulfill the church’s mission
